So you can take a few hours to do multiple copies. No clip art library is included, and text treatment is awkward.
Dymo DiscPainter Review
I currently have a Canon PIXMA iP printer at home, it is a brilliant printer that, from its six individual cartridges prints an amazing picture, and, does the same when you get the CD tray out, set it up and work out the right setting to use. Saraceno is a motion graphics artist located in Spokane, Washington.
The application will let you use most images; I found that a good quality jpg worked just fine. I have printed on silver inkjet, and white label inkjet, both water proof and not. It will print on 80 and mm discs, both hub printable and non hub printable.

Best quality glossy discs come out slightly tacky, but dry quickly. Then insert the three-color ink cartridge into a slot on the top side of the printer.
It prints very quickly and quietly, even with complex graphics, and the ink dries quickly. In part this may be attributable to the three-color ink cartridge used by the DYMO. I chose a reasonably dark image to start with, and went ahead and added it via the photo tab within the software.
As with every other device these days that does everything, I expected the DiscPainter to be a multi this that and the other device. You also have to be careful of which printable disks you use as not all of them work well. There is no tray to align, or get stuck and the blanks stay in place as ink is applied.
I installed the application on both my MacBook Pro and my Windows XP dell, which in both cases was as simple as a few mouse clicks.
I also created a custom print template in Disc Cover and printed directly from the Disc Cover. I would recommend this machine, it is small, fun to watch and easy to use.
Most relevant reviews See all 28 reviews. Set up of the printer was straightforward. Printing is a breeze, dyom a standard quality disc popping out in around a minute, while a high quality disc would take somewhere in the vicinity of three minutes. But it may not meet everybody’s expectations.

Weighing just about 2. It was sold by Dymo. As mentioned in other reviews, there is subtle banding, but this really does not detract from the overall stellar appearance of the printed discs. When the unit worked it did a fine job printing disc lables paintwr, I would not recommend it because of it’s lack of reliability.

Finally, the DiscPainter is a one trick pony. I can’t imagine printing CDs on this thing in one sitting. I will not buy another one of these if they only last a couple of years.
